T-Ball

Noah had his first t-ball practice on Tuesday, April 5th.  He was so excited all day to go.  He got pants, shirt, and a hat at practice for his uniform.  They are the Angels.  As soon as he got in the car after practice, he put on his hat.  Once we got inside he wore his uniform.  He looked in the mirror and said, "Ugh, I actually look really good!"  It was so funny.  He slept in his uniform and even wore it the next day to the fun center.  I made him take it off that night, but he still wore his hat to bed!  We hadn't done much with baseball, mitts, or bats before Tuesday so he learned how to throw a ball and hit off a tee.  He showed Steve what he learned at practice.  Saturday, we went to Dick's to get all his tee ball gear.  We got red socks to match his uniform, bat, balls, tee, and a mitt.  Ava loves to do everything and be part of the group so she got some white baseball pants and a pink glove.  They came home and started practicing.  However, Noah's glove needs to be broken in so there was some frustration.  I hope he likes it and practices and works hard.  Liam, of course, would not miss out on the action.  We have a Fisher Price Tee Ball Set that we got out for him. I showed him how to put the ball on it and hit it with a plastic bat.  He now puts the ball on it and hits it.  He is all sports.  He also wanted me to lift him up to put the ball in the basketball hoop.  He is definitely our traditional sports lover.
