Fun Center with Cousins

This week we have been on spring break.  We stayed home this year  because we had so much that happened in January through March.  I needed to catch up on some work and Steve couldn't take anymore days off right now.  So we have been doing things around here and enjoying some of the fun activities we don't get to do as much because of school and activities.  One of the things the kids really wanted to do was the fun center.  Ava took her new roller blades she got for Christmas and Noah used his new 2-wheel scooter.  Ava has really improved on her roller blades and is getting much more comfortable.  Noah does great on his scooter.  Hudson wanted to try skating so of course Noah did.  However, we let Noah try once before and he was too young.  Since we were pressed for time, I told Noah if Hudson does it for 10 minutes and likes it then you can try it.  Hudson didn't like it, so Noah didn't do it.  Sometimes you have to let kids try things and can't tell them they can't and sometimes you have to go with your gut that it will be a waste of time and money.  They played on the bounce houses and also did the arcades.  They love the arcades, despite the games being sorta lame to me and the prizes you get for trading in tickets even more ridiculous.  Liam was hilarious.  He didn't want to be pushed on the scooter or in the stroller on the rink so he just ran and ran as fast as he could with the kids scootering, roller skating, etc.  He sometimes stopped to dance!  He and I had so much fun just running around the rink, despite breaking the rules and eventually having to get off!  He also liked the slide.  He didn't love the bounce houses or the little coin operated rides.  He is certainly our most timid child with rides and adventure, but he is getting better the more he does and is exposed to.
