This is the first 4 generation picture on my mom's side. I am the first girl to have a baby in my family and so it is kind of neat that we got to take one!

(post by Marissa) I have noticed my blog has kind of been dying. I will try to do better, but no guarantees since all the pics are already on Facebook and Blogger takes longer to do. I will however try and give some updates and some stories. I am also going to return to my old days of blogging with opinions and recent finds, etc.

So as for a book recommendation, I recommend Outliers. We read it for Book Club and everyone seemed to like it. It is eye opening. We are now reading "The Last Lecture." I wanted to read this a while ago but never did.

I am working from home still and I love it. It is a great balance. I have a good little setup with two monitors and all.

Ava is getting around now! She can roll anywhere and scoots all around. She does the military crawl. Her growth has slowed a lot I think since she is so active. She never stops moving, whether its jumping, rolling, or scooting. She is curious and grabs anything in her sight.

She has digressed in the sleeping department. She has started waking up in the middle of hte night again...ahhhhhh.

We have given her rice cereal and she likes it. Next is oatmeal and sweet potatoes.

We recently returned from two trips. One to Dallas to see BYU play OU and one to Utah for Dallin and Shannon's wedding. Ava is quite the traveler. The wedding was beautiful and it was great to see everyone and play!

I promise to do less jounaling and more opinions. It takes forever to upload pics on blogger and so long to put them in the right spot and since you all have facebook just imagine the correct picture where I am talking!!

I love love love Crewcuts. They have the cutest clothes for kids. When Ava is bigger that is where she is shopping!!! I hope we are kind of hte same size and share the same style so my warddrobe can double (i know that is years away)....

Well, I never did profess to be an English major and have an organized blog as this post is about as scattered as it can get...which will prob drive Steve nuts.
