Update and Nursery

(post by Marissa) Brief update: I am now only 10 days away from my due date..wow that sounds really close! I am counting in days now. I still feel good and haven't really slowed down much, although Steve would like me to. Unfortunately, between work and the other projects I want to do, I don't have much time to relax. Work is really really busy right now. Tax season is in full swing and I can't seem to finish tax returns faster than I get them. So I guess you could say our firm is not struggling due to the downturn in the economy, which is good. Although, I haven't done a return with capital gains really, which is kind of depressing. Anyways, Steve is busier than me so the combination of the two means that we see eachother only a few hours a day somedays. We have the nursery nearly done. We are waiting on a few things such as letters for her room, 3 big picture frames, and a picture of Christ. I want to change the nobs on the dresser to crystal ones, but I'll prob do that later! I had a baby shower here in Lubbock and I just realized I never posted that. I;ll post that this weekend. Ava has gotten so much stuff. Friends and family have spoiled her and I! She has so many cute outfits. I'll go in her closet, (not going to admit how much) and pick out little outfits for her. I prob have her first month of outfits picked out. Pathetic, I know!!

She also has a blessing dress now thanks to my sis in law Becky!! She saw this beautiful dress and called me to ask me if I had a blessing dress..I had my eye on one, but I didn't have one yet...so she got me the one we are going to bless her in!! It's beautiful. I will post pictures with Ava in it! I am very excited for her to wear it:)

Also, Steve turned 27 this month. He is still hot as ever, has a full head of hair, and wears the same pant size as when I married him..so it looks like my future with a hot husband forever is bright :) I have a few pics from a little birthday get together here that I will also post!

I made that picture frame (with steve's help of course)...

I bought the flowers, but Steve arranged them on top!!! I def can't do anything by myself (see Steve's post about me..so TRUE!)

We couldnt find tassels we liked..so we made them..

we stitched two different trims together! And yes, Steve helped me design and sew them...he helps with everything! thanks babe
