Ava's Bag is Packed!

(post by Marissa) Ava's bag is packed and ready to go. I will have mine packed by tonight. They will probably both just sit in the close for another 3 weeks, but I guess I can cross it off the list at least :)

That's funny! I've never packed a bag for the baby before. I usually just pack an outfit or two in my bag and call it good.

Oh yeah, so what exactly did you pack anyway???

Wow - we packed a bag when we had Ben...sort of. Then Adam came almost 3 weeks early and we were not expecting that at all -- thankfully we lived five minutes from the hospital!

You're cute.. I had my bag packed way in advance too! It just made me more anxious.. but I like being organized and prepared for everything.. I didn't pack many outfits for Connor just because we didn't know he was going to be a boy but in the hospital they gave him tons of white onesies in the NICU.. but it was nice to finally put him in something his own and blue!! This might sound wierd and maybe I should write it but I wish someone told me.. but I would bring a pack of ComFortable pads with you... the ones they give you in the hospital are Gross!! Anyways.. just thought I say that tidbit... I felt like I was wearing a stupid diaper.. sorry... hope that helps

Better to have it done early! Tyler packed my hospital bag while I showered right before we went to the hospital! Remember to pack really warm and tall socks since you are hanging out in a hospital gown for 2 days and the floors are usually cold.

Thanks Marissa. We are lucky that y'all are out here. We have so much fun when we come visit. It'll be fun to have our little ones at the same age. They just decided my shower in Kermit will be on the 28 of March. I'm thinking you might be out of commision at that time:)
