34 Weeks & Bedding

(post by Marissa) Ava has bedding and I have 6 weeks! Time is winding down. Now that her bedding is here, we will start to do a little decorating....

I am feeling good so far..I am reading a little about the labor and delivery so I'm not clueless. All of her clothes are washed, ironed, and organized in her closet (with those dividers I love). Work is very busy right now so it's hard to find time to do some of the projects I want to do and workout. I go to the gym at least 3 or 4x a week or else I feel so stiff from sitting all day. I have noticed that if I do certain things my lower back will hurt some. I scrubbed the floor on my hands and knees the other day and my back hurt a little afterwards. Other than that, I think I am doing pretty good! Steve has been busy as well because he is working part time for a law firm here. Hopefully that will make the time go by faster for him because instead of counting down weekly or even daily, it's almost an hourly thing for him! Poor Steve, he doesn't have a ton of patience..(I don't either, but we have patience in different ways...). I think it's a Jensen thing. They decide they want/like something and they have to have it immediately. Whereas with me, it takes me a million years to decide on something. However, when it comes to day to day going, I have no patience. Steve often sings, I'm in a hurry to get nowhere, oh I rush and rush until life is no fun.." I seem to somehow make a Friday night date into a rush to leave....Well that had no relevance to the post...

Anyways, I am very pleased with her bedding. I like it because it will be good when she is a baby and a toddler. The other bedding was a little too babyish and not very versatile as far as color goes. With this, I can throw in some green, dif shades of pink, cream, etc. For anyone in Lubbock, we got it from KidSpace. You can pick out whatever fabric you want and stuff. The only bad thing is you don't get to see your creation before it's made. And since it is custom made, there isn't really a return policy..but we're pleased so...
