Baby Nursery

(post by Marissa) If money meant nothing and I had no sense of reality as to how much I should spend on things, I think this would be my baby's nursery.
Crib:

Bedding:

Unfortunately, both of those things mean something. At least it is good to know that if I had unlimited funds, I could design one gorgeous nursery! (and my kid would be best dressed...so those celebrities with poorly dressed kids really need help..i mean they have unlimited funds). I will refrain from saying the prices because you will probably all be shocked.

Both of those cribs are so cute. I really like the classic style, too. Someday we will have "unlimited funds"...hopefully. :) It would be nice not to worry about the price tag & you would get to buy it just because you liked it.

As of right now ... glad I didn't buy expensive bedding {bought mine at downeast from potterybarn}.

As for the crib ... I wish I had bought the expensive one ... mine wasn't cheap but it isn't good wood.

P.S. If I could do it over I would not buy a changing table but a dresser with a changing pad on it. Oh well.

ashlynn...good to know! yeah we are getting a good crib, just not the one shown which is 1,600. The one we like is a good hard wood. I think I am just going to do a big dresser with a changing pad and then when the baby is older I can put a hutch over it!

alisha - would you like to contribute! the bedding is 2,400...hahha! its like triple what most bedding is..most bedding i have seen is like 600 to 800..this one is a little much.

Hey I always did that... I always had 2 of everything.. the one I wish I could buy and then one we could afford... if you're going to splurg on anything then get the Crib you want for sure.. and then bargain on the bedding... I would cry everytime thre was a stain or spitup on it!!!

I have to agree with Ashlynn (although I don't know you...I do go to your blog and LOVE it! So thanks for that!) I have a dresser with a changing pad and that is a great idea...easily convertible. I agree with buying the bed you want. Most cribs convert to full size beds and then Ava can have it forever.

So nice! HA! Funny comment about celebs kids. Sometimes, well, more than sometimes, I wish I had unlimited funds too because everything I own and buy for would look rockin' good. Is that bad to want? Anyway, very cute pictures of your belly growing in that other post. I remember always feeling like I looked bigger than I really was!

I'm sure you can find something more affordable with the same style. You have great taste!
