No TV This Week

Last week I read an article about screen time for kids.  It made me want to eliminate most screen time in our home. My kids don't watch much, but they like a show a day or sometimes in the car.  I also noticed I would let Noah watch it when he seemed tired. However, watching TV when tired leaves you agitated.  I decided instead when he is tired to read to him in my bed or have him just relax on the couch.  In the car if he is tired, we listen to music or drive in silence.  The week went much better and I felt better as a mom.  Since no TV, Ava and Noah did some crafts on Thursday.  Noah had a lot of fun making his airplane and boat.  He gave it to Steve to take to work to show everyone at the office.
