Buckhorn Ranch, Utah
On Friday afternoon, Steve and Noah headed out to go camping for Fathers and Sons. This was Noah's first time going to the event. He was so excited! The weather didn't look promising and I worried a bit about him getting cold, sick, or scared. They arrived Friday afternoon and set up camp a bit and then went fishing. Steve said they caught quite a few fish. After fishing, they had a mini rodeo. The kids tried to get a ribbon off of a calf. The winner won a $100. Noah didn't go out, but when it was the men's turn he went with Steve. They had a small devotional by the fire and had a BBQ. Noah has a lot of friends in the ward so he was able to play with his buddies, Brooks, Eli, and Shane. Surprisingly, Steve said Noah slept great and never woke up. I can't say Steve said the same thing about his own sleep. It's amazing how kids can sleep anywhere. Saturday morning they had Kneaders French Toast and fished a bit more. Noah slept the whole way home, of course. He had a blast and I know they will have more fun every year!
