Ava Lost a Tooth

Ava came home from school so excited on Friday, May 8th.  She had a little tooth necklace with her first lost tooth in it!  She said during reading group, she was wiggling it and then her teacher just pulled it out.  If they lose a tooth at school, then they put the tooth in a little necklace.  Ava was so excited.  Most of her friends have already lost their first tooth so she was feeling a bit behind.  Since it was her first tooth, we thought the tooth fairy thought it would be okay to keep her first tooth in her small jar that says, "First Tooth."  The tooth fairy brought her two sparkly one dollar bills and a book about the tooth fairy.  She was in heaven.
