Mommy daughter Date Night

A neighbor of ours was starring in the play, "Dinosaurs Before Dark."  Ava read the book and was familiar with the Magic Treehouse series.  I really wanted to take her.  It was a small theater though and so tickets were already sold out by the time I found out about it.  My neighbor saved the day and gave me two extra tickets.  So off Ava and I went.  She has been really good since the baby was born and so it was good to take her on a special date.  We got there early, got a drink and skittles and waited for the show to start. She loved the show so much . Afterwards, she asked if  I could sign her up for one.  After the show, she requested a donut.  We got a donut and headed home.  I told her she could stay awake until 9 pm so we had just enough time to play a game of Chutes and Ladders too.  She helped me make a bottle for the baby and then she went to bed.  It was such a great night for the two of us! I love my girl.
