Lovin; It!

(post by Marissa) How Cute is she!! Ava is 5 months now and I'm loving loving loving this stage! She is on a really good schedule with two good naps a day. I'm loving that she is on a schedule. I think from the days she was born, I was trying to get a schedule. I was probably rushing it so now I know for the next baby that a schedule takes a little time. She is awake more so we can go and do things in the daytime and not mess her sleeping schedule up! She still LOVES the water and we take he swimming as much as we can. We dunk her a ton and she never cries. I think we have a little swimmer on our hands. I love working part-time from home. I haven't had a ton of work yet, but I'm sure I'll get a little busier. It gives me something to do, gives us extra cash, and keeps my brain strong. GO Accounting! My work has been so good to me and I really feel blessed. She is rolling everywhere and talks/yells lots too. She loves to bounce and play in her exersaucer. She is a great baby and doesn't really cry much and when she does it's kind of a weak cry..she needs to work on her cry! Well, I'm getting used to being a mom (after 5 months)
and Ava and I are becoming little buddies.

She is beautiful! Aren't little girls just so much fun?! I totally agree... LOVE 5 months all the way until about 9-10 months and then they get mobile and I don't love it quite as much. :) It's still, of course, fun but this time is the best so ENJOY it!!

Awesome that I'm not alone on loving a schedule!! I already have Chloe on an eating schedule... She's only a month so she still sleeps all day but I'm strick about her eating every 4 hours... not a minute before.. I loved when you've got 2 great naps a day.. then it will turn into a long nap once a day.. Connor still does a great job at that.. I have 2 hours of quiet. It's nice knowing what to expect for the day

She has gotten soooo pretty! I think we all learn from the first :) Some babies just fall into a schedule. I never had to force anything with Weston (except I had a sick baby so it's kind of different) and others aren't as easy. It's so nice when it becomes routine.

Hey i was wondering if i could get a few details of your schedule with Ava. i think I wanna start one with Kalani, but I'm not sure how much he's supposed to sleep during the day.

Thanks for the info, very helpful. Yeah... I'm pretty sure we look homeless as we wander the streets of Kermit. It's not exactly a mecca for people who like to ride bikes and walk for exercise. We have lots of fun though.

Yes, my mom always said she liked the 6 mo. to 2 yrs stage the best and I agree. (Unfortunately Cam's leaving that age range and changing out for terrible 2s) You and Ava will be best friends. I always said about Cameron "We're in love!" because we were the best of friends.
