2 Months

Well, here is an update. I actually have a ton to blog about. I'll start with Ava is 2 months. She is smiling and doing a lot more tricks. She is trying to rollover and she makes all sorts of noises. She is getting to be a lot of fun.

We drove down to Houston with my parents and got nearly settled in. I was working out and Steve comes and says, "The Supreme Court wants me to clerk for them." So here we are now in Austin. We left the next morning and stayed in a hotel for a few days while Steve looked for a place for us to live for 6 weeks, which is not an easy task! So yes, we lived in a hotel for a few days:)

We are enjoying Austin and trying to do as much as possible. We went to Georgetown for our 5 year anniversary and had dinner. It was a cute little town. I was able to go to my CPA innauguration as well over Memorial Day. It was really neat to do that. It was the last thing. I passed the CPA November 2007, but am just now getting my certificate...better late than never.

There are tons of walking paths here so I am in heaven. I am going on lots of walks and Steve is joining me in the evenings. WE went on a cool trail this past Sunday. We are going to San Antonio next weekend with my mom, sister, and sis in law. It should be fun. Ava is doing really good with all of this traveling.

We also took Ava swimming! She loves the water. She is such a cutie! Sorry, this post is so hodge podge. I don't have the internet at our place so I have to go to the clubhouse to do this. IT is kind of annoying. Here are some pics ...
