Marissa

I felt a sudden urge to write random stuff about Marissa, or in other words, reasons why I digg her:

1. She eats cereal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. She loves it. It's not even the good sugary kind. She likes the Kashi stuff, too, that tastes like dog food.

2. She changes the trash cans before they even get half full.

3. She has lots of energy. Even now, she's almost 9 months pregnant and she goes all day doing who knows what.

4. She always, always thinks of me first. 

5. She likes the same candy as me: Starbursts, Sour Patch Kids, Gummi Bears (the hard kind), and Milk Duds. She always keeps at least one of these in stock.

6. She whips up great meals in minutes. (Thank you Kraft magazine)

7. She doesn't "sugar-coat" anything. This sometimes causes problems. 

8. For being as intense as she is, I've never met anyone so peaceful when she's relaxing. 

9. She is 100% honest. I never have to worry about her lying to me. It wouldn't even cross her mind to tell a fib.

10. Any letter or card I write her, she keeps. 

11. She works hard, then plays hard. 

12. She's willing to do anything as long as it means being with me. She hates doing anything without me. She even put on some waders and went fly fishing with me a couple times.

13. She talks a lot, and even when I zone out, she keeps talking. Sometimes I'll just be watching her think and wait for the flood of words to unleash. I think it's hilarious. 

14. She talks/brags about me to everyone. Yes, she's my personal cheerleader. I put on an act like I don't like it, but really I do. 

15. She cleaned my car in our driveway while 35 weeks pregnant. 

16. Going on walks makes her day...her week. It doesn't take much to keep her happy. 

17. She always looks "put together." She loves to get dressed up, even if it's just to go to the grocery store. She always waits for me to get home (which is late sometimes) to change from her work clothes into her pajamas. 

18. She keeps a clean house.

19. Her closet is color coordinated.

20. She never holds a grudge with me or anyone else.

21. She's super smart. She loves doing mind teasers and puzzles. She was the president of her math club. She always makes it known that "the cool people were in the math club." Whatever you say Missy:)

22. Her pajama bottoms/pants are always a little crooked. So is her right nostril. I don't know if the two are correlated.

23. She loves babies, which is good since we're going to own one in a month.

24. She can spend all day in the water. She loves the ocean, lake, or pool. She gets mad at me when I pee in the pool.

25. She calls me 20-40 times a day. If I don't pick up, instead of leaving a message or assuming I"ll see her missed call, she keeps calling. Every time I see 6 missed calls within 3 minutes, I think someone's dead or she won the lottery. Neither has happened yet.

26. She's always moving my stuff to the most inconspicuous places.
