Great and Spacious Building...

(Post by Steve) This short video shows protestors at the LA Temple. It brings those in the "large and spacious building" alive. I think it's worth checking out. Listen carefully to what people scream out.

No, I am not a bigot and homophobe because I believe marriage should be limited to a man and a woman. What people do in their own bedroom is up to them and doesn't affect me. However, when the issue becomes a constitutional question, this undoubtedly affects me and my family. If gay marriage is legalized, my rights as a parent become impinged. I no longer have a say in who teaches my child about what when it comes to homosexuality. In Massachusetts, a father was arrested for refusing to allow the school to hand out "diversity packets" to his son. These packets contained books that taught about the nuts and bolts of homosexuality. By the way, this child was in kindergarten! Of course, Massachusetts is a state that has legalized gay marriage.

Why do we rely on schools to teach about sex, anyways? Weren't schools supposed to teach math and reading. I know when my daughter is in Kindergarten, I don't want any of the school faculty to talk to her about sex in general, much less homosexuality! That's my responsibility.

A seriously great post! I really want to watch the video but the link doesn't work. I guess I'll try again later. Have you seen all "fun" on my blog lately? People have lost their minds!

They are supposedly having one at the Salt Lake Temple tonight - they warned a bunch of people that work downtown to steer clear. It didn't really mean much until they show the temple grounds in the background.

I liked this post. I hope that gay marriage comes to a complete stop. I don't think it is fair to the kids. Especially when gay couples are adopting, that is just wrong!

Katie, I'm afraid it will eventually end up in the Supreme Court like everything else and with Obama picking maybe 3 or 4 new justices over the next 8 years it is bound to be very liberal. He voted against Roberts and Alito, who have brought some sanity back to the court. I think this will be the greatest and most telling consequence of this election. The Democrats in Congress will have he power to rubberstamp anything he wants to do. Makes me kind of sad.
