Shoes

(post by Marissa) So my shoe fetish has come on late in life. When I would go shopping with my mom, I would usually buy clothes and she would come home with shoes....lots of shoes. I always heard how some people love shoes. I liked them, but I didn't buy a pair of shoes before the outfit! My mom has LOTS of shoes and always has. She has a different pair of shoes for absolutely every outfit. I am still not where my mom is...however, I have come to the conclusion that the shoes truly do make the outfit! First, do you ever have those days where you are at work or out and you just hate what you are wearing. All you want to do is change...fix your shoes, outfit, hair, etc. Well, I have some of those days and I'll even go home at lunch and fix whatever is bothering me...I know pathetic, but I just get so obsessed with it that I;ll lose focus..okay I'll stop confessing! Anyways, today is not one of those days. I am wearing a dress that I had bought last summer. I always wore these one shoes and they looked pretty good. Well, this summer I had to buy a new pair of shoes (similar to my old ones) for some other dresses I had that my old shoes would def. not work for. Well, the outfit is about 100x better and I feel so much more complete. The shoes def. do make the outfit.

As a sidenote, Steve has a small fetish for hats and shoes on top of men's dress clothing. He will go shopping when he needs real clothes and look at shoes and hats. And when he is getting ready his stress is what shoes will look good! It's pretty funny..so if our kids get a shoe fetish at an early age, it will be from my mom or their dad not from their mom surprisingly!
