(post by Marissa) First, I need someone to show me how to embed an article without having the whole ugly url...Second, the reason for the post. Everywhere we go, I kid you not I usually have some suggestion for the restaurant, store, business, etc. Sometimes I offer them (which Steve thinks is crazy) and sometimes I just tell them to others. However, I usually do have some change to recommend. Steve jokes that every place should have a "Marissa's suggestion Box." I think I could keep them full! Well, retailers are now asking women their ideas before they do major developments. Sign me up! This is something I would love to do! I think I may have found my niche! So next time they are doing a big project in Lubbock, maybe I will suggest they do a women's focus group and then suggest that I be included. Anyways, interesting article and quite frankly a "no duh..why didn't you think to ask the people actually shopping for their opinon instead of some engineer." I mean not trying to be rude or anything, but do you really think engineers spend lots of time browsing the malls and parks....NO! (my bro is an engineering major so I can say this..but he does love to shop so I guess he is a little different..he has more clothes than me! Also, he comes home on Friday from his mission!)

Watters Creek is down the street from my parents (the place it talks about in the article). PF Changs and the Cheesecake Factory right by each other - sigh. Maybe someday Lubbock will have some more restaurants.
If you want to embed a link, highlight the word that you want to link in your post and click on the funny globe/chain-looking button above the text box (I think it's on the left half of the buttons). Then just type in the URL and you're set. Let me know if that doesn't make sense....
