A Magazine for Every Home

(post by Marissa) Now some of you men may see this post and move right on. However, this is really for you guys! I mean why else do we women cook. It is not really for me because I would eat cereal every night for dinner! So for you women who are trying to follow Dr. Laura's advice (see earlier post for Dr. Laura) I highly recommend this little magazine. It is FREE and you can sign up online. It comes to our house every season! Steve has loved every single recipe from this little magic book. They are simple, fresh, and always have a veggie. Steve is not one for veggies, but always eats the veggies that are in these recipes because they are usually mixed in with the main course. You can also access archived magazines online, which I did for several of the recipes I am making this week. All of the recipes call for some type of Kraft item, but who doesnt buy Kraft already! Also, every recipe does not call for some other random ingredient that you have to fly to Tibet to get! A lot of the recipes call for similar items. I think I have used my light Italian dressing for so many of them. So if you are not already signed up for this then sign up here: http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf/registration/contextualsignuplogin

Steve loves when we get these mags because then we will have some new good meals!

That magazine is seriously amazing. I also could totally be happy eating cereal every night and this has been a huge help in keeping that from happening! I actually started carefully tearing out the recipes from the magazines that looked good and putting them into a thin binder because I found that I couldn't remember which magazine had which recipe. It's been easy to pull it out and plan a week's worth of dinners. That was a long enough comment - sorry!! :)

I LOVE that mag! I've been getting it for about 5 years now and really enjoy the recipes! They are quick, easy and I almost always have every ingredient w/out having to run to the store!

Dionne told me about that magazine about a year ago. I like to read the recipes and look at the pretty pictures, and put them in the Relief Society newsletter (one of my callings) but have yet to actually make one.

Gosh, I just realized I didn't get my Spring issue. I have been searching high and low! Thanks for the reminder!

Thanks Marissa! I've been in kind of a cooking rut! It's no fun when you're trying to cook healthy!
I'll definately subscribe.
