(post by Marissa) This post is merely of stream of consciousness. For any of you that cannot follow "off topic" jumps..this may be confusing! We will post pictures of our trip to Wyoming. I was in charge of the camera this past weekend in Dallas, which means we have like 2! We have had a busy few weeks. We went to Wyoming for Christmas and had a great time! Then as soon as we got back to Lubbock, Steve's really good friend had a wedding here in Lubbock. We had a great time seeing old friends and for me meeting new people! Then, before busy season hit and school started again, we went to Dallas to visit Steve's brother and family. We will post some pics!
Steve has been following all the politic stuff religiously, but now that school has started again he may not have time. I have even found myself reading articles and thinking about it a lot more than I ever have.
We have started P90X together. I did not like having to drive to the gym after work and waste all the time in the car (30 min total because I am driving at rush hour..Lubbock does not have tons of traffic, but it takes longer at 5:30 to get anywhere). I wanted to work out in the morning, but the school gym does not open until 6. So, we are going to try working out in the morning before Steve goes to school and I go to work. So far, we have been working out in the evening, but that's because Steve hadn't started school yet. We'll let you know how it goes. So far, we have both been correcting each other occasionally on form, technique, endurance, etc. Well, actually I think Steve corrects me more :). When he gets into things, they have to be perfect. I'll wing things a little more..cooking, etc!
This may be of interest (sorry, if it's not). It seems like in the new year, a lot of people have the goal to read more. I love to read and I always want to hear about a good book, so these are the books we are reading right now!
Fire of the Covenant (Steve is reading this, but it is about my ancestors)
Distant Prayer
Kite Runner
Yes, this may seem more like a journal..my apologies..reading it of course is always optional and I know no matter how boring this post is most of you would still read it! Also, Steve I apologize for the lack of style in the writing and organization.

I enjoy your blog, Melissa! Also, who care's what anyone thinks... what an awesome record your making for your family. Someday you should have your blog printed into a book. Wendy probably has some photos from your trip here. Right after you left we got the sickness from them! UGGG! I think we're finally done, though. Have you stayed healthy?
