Well, last time I checked the men and women on Rodeo Drive and Palm Beach, FL could care less about the $3 a gallon gas to fill their Mercedes S500. It is shown that when items such as food and fuel increase, Neiman Marcus is not affected at all. However, Wal Mart feels the pain. Their sales drop when items such as food and fuel (staples) increase. So if the democrats want to help the less fortunate, why can't we drill. I think giving every family in America an extra 100 bucks a month (which is what most ppl's gas bills have increased by) would certainly help the less fortunate. Oh, but we can't say the democrats are hurting their own people. They would probably find a way to spin the facts. Maybe that's the problem, we don't want to face the cold truth and answer the tough questions.
And in an effort to find alternative ways to make fuel, food has increased because what are we using to create different kinds of fuel....FOOD! Yes, we are experimenting with corn and vegetable oil to fuel our cars. So now, we have increased fuel and food prices. Why can't we drill? Oh yeah some prehistoric ant in Alaska. If only ants could vote, then the dems would really have power.
