Welcome to Lubbock, TX!

Since Marissa and I are hundreds of miles away from everyone, I thought I would introduce everyone to Lubbock through some photographs of the area. Since day one, I have really felt at home. Marissa, deciding that work wasn't for her, began to consider a Ph.D. route, but I quickly shot that down. Afterall, she is the breadwinner, and if she went back to school we would have no bread. Besides that, I knew she would start enjoying work once she adjusted after a few weeks and successfully completed some 1040s. She proved me right a week ago when she called from work to proudly tell me about a client whose tax return she completed, despite the man having brought in a suitcase full of forms and documents. Hopefully, these pictures might give you some idea of what it's like in our new home.
